Western Nations

Western Nations are comprised of over 30 settlements located in the western part of Mortia, on continents 17 and 20. The primary purpose of our clan is to turn our native land into a densely populated, highly advanced, well-defended fortress of prosperity. We are a closed society, and we intend to use our privileged common background to full advantage.

Ideology
Being the most civilised part of Mortia, we consider it our noble burden to better the rest of the world, as we desire competition and the progress it entails. We would like other clans to follow the benchmark that we set by our existence, including developing their own culture, such as symbolism or territory.

Firstly, we reserve the right to raid any unaligned settlements anywhere in the world, so that everyone is encouraged to form coalitions, forcing others to improve themselves and to form clans. Secondly, we will actively research and spread information about the world, so that people improve and know how to govern - we do not intend to withhold much for personal gain. Thirdly, we shall try to remain diplomatically independent and avoid forging alliances, for fear of stagnation in Mortia. We will violently oppose major alliances of other clans.

Membership and Rights
Western Nations do not accept members from the outside. Our prestigious organisation is reserved for people of the Codex. Any member is free to attack any outsider on our territory without any permission from the leaders. While their decision to attack may be personal, we shall defend them united. Any member is, by default, more important to us than any non-member. Our hierarchy is informal and based on experience and activity.

Geography and Diplomacy
Western Nations occupy the shores of continent 17 and the entire island of 20. Any non-Western settlements on these territories will be forcefully removed. We consider naval power crucial, and thus claim any waters adjacent to these lands as ours. We refuse the right to free passage through our land or water to any foreigners, albeit temporary access may be granted on a personal basis.
