Yikes activity seems even lower than what I expected, goods I dumped on the market were bought by Templars themselves.

Signing off,

Jayse

Some clarification might help here. Perhaps some things even Jayse doesn't know about.

Bikini Bottom is the only clan to ever have attacked us in force. They set up an alliance with us to attack another strong clan, but after landing their forces to join up with us, they attacked us instead. They were extremely well coordinated and clearly knew a lot more about combat than anyone else on the server. Well, it turned out this was because they had been playing on the Russian-speaking server for years. They got banned just before destroying our first member.

After we'd recovered, and had nothing to do, someone suggested we take out the banned players. It would be very bad for us if they returned, with full strength still, and attacked again. As we started on this, the remaining two players (Lomear and jayse) went inactive. So we decided to just eliminate the whole clan, for our safety and also practice.

Jayse came back, attacked us. Perfectly reasonable. And he's good!
Red_Hand said to us "active players are too precious, I want to offer jayse an out". We encouraged Red_Hand to go ahead with the invitation, but also mobilized our troops in case the answer was "no" and we had to deal with a hostile sharing a continent.
So Jayse was invited to leave Bikini Bottom, and also leave the continent we were securing. But he refused.

We *have* appreciated the opportunity to get combat experience. We don't have much. Mystic Knights looks like they have a lot (hopefully they aren't other Russian-speaking server experts!). So we really didn't mind having a reason to fight. And Jayse is a tough opponent!

Even so I'd hate to lose a skilled, active player like Jayse from the game. I've invited him to return after he's been destroyed (Lomear has already done the same), just stay out of Bikini Bottom and we will leave him alone.

Hi

Thank you for your praise and extensive response. I think you would do the Templar a better service than your current diplomatic contact Red Hand ;)

Yes I was quite inactive so no real problem, I just wanted to hang in and check from time to time, I like this game but it was just a bit to silent to play a lot and Burger had gone inactive (and his settlement dissapeared, I still don't understand how and why)

Then I logged in after quite some time and saw my remote town on bikini Island was destroyed and my 2nd was under major attack from several knights. That fact with red hand's messages didn't leave me any room, I decided to put on a little resistance and waste most of my resources. I just don't like players getting an edge by vulture picking on such, worse my position :)

Btw I ventured my home island a few times before and didn't attack any inactives (of which there were a lot). I even was nice to not retaliate when someone killed a wandering harmless hero of mine (a move I still regret, I should have made him hurt for that). I nicely asked adilson a few times to remove his zeppelin besides my town, which he didn't do (I left it unharmed, only destoyed it when the attack was long under way) Tobias did move his army.

I know little about BB history, I do know there were some good players and Burger had quite some knowledge of the game. He also shared part of it with me. I had next to none battle experience before this, a battle like this does learn you quickly though. There is little one can do to defend his town when you are already surrounded by theses numbers and most of your heroes are already dead ;)

It's too bad this game is too ghosty to play, it takes a lot of time to start up and most players will quit after a little while because either: start is too slow, they are attacked by someone who has a long headstart, or too little happens around them. Shame because it surely has some nice and original mechanics.

kind regards,

Jayse

Now I understand the reason of our attack to Bikini Bottom...

If somebody is reading this:

join Knights Templar, the best clan of Mortia ;)
