Not too long ago I constructed my first mine, and I noticed that tiles with constructed mines consume 1 AP when heroes move through them, even when said mines are constructed on roads. In such cases, it is a bit odd for the movement cost to be momentarily increased for heroes passing through. It is not a big deal, of course, but it would still be nice if the movement cost for mines on roads could be decreased by half.

On a related note, heroes that stand on tiles with constructed mines can pass items and troops to adjacent heroes, but they can not receive items and troops in return. It would seem to me that the mine has a capacity of one hero, and that it is considered by the game to be some kind of transport.

Would it be possible to allow for heroes "inside" mines to receive items and troops from adjacent heroes? It seems vital if one is to defend them from assault. Further, would it be possible -and of course, desirable- to allow for several heroes to occupy a mine at the same time?

Mines, towers and HQs are considered transports.
When you go inside you use 1 ap, doesnt matter if its a road (.5 ap) or forest (2 ap) or rocks (3 ap). Its a huge advantage sometimes, used in wars to make a quick strike through rough terrain. I dont see a reason why we should fix that, it is one of the perks of the game.

They can, use take, not pass.

No, it would be a cheat.
