I have slain my first kraken - churned it in the fires of my fire ships - and the harvest was as bountiful as it was symbolic. Amidst the seven tentacles of this distant relative of the queer horrors aeons old that lurk in the unfathomable depths of the vast ocean spreading between the rightful lands of WN, I found 11 (!) scrolls of Blessing and a recipe for 15 more scrolls of the same spell. Truly, the Old Ones look favourably upon our clan and grant us their boon - the signs could not be any clearer.

A statue of our clan symbol, the well-off winged octopus, shall be erected in the largest city of the Western Nations. In addition to the golden jewellery and the best top hat in the realm, it shall be adorned with fresh tentacles every time a kraken is killed. Let our reverence be known, and let our enemies tremble cognisant of the eldritch blessings of our unseen benefactors.

Let it also be known that hunting krakens can bring great treasures, and that you should pursue building a fleet.

Great treasures? 11 blessing scrolls? Hardly. Not any gold or resources? I somehow doubt that building fireships will make profit quickly...
