this will make heroes instantly teleport them back to their base, there are times when i moved my hero so much that i just want to go to a forest and be killed by orcs... Theres no map either so most of the time im lost. TP (town portal) isnt that much, think about it.

As for being lost, if you look along the border of the map, you'll see a little blue-highlighted number somewhere that tells you how far away your main settlement is. The location of the number gives you the direction your hero needs to go.
