I was wondering when you plan on implementing new worlds to the game? I think it would be very interesting to have a 6 hour AP world. I think it would bring more people to the game and help keep more players, the ones that like to have a little more to do and will probably bring more people into Mortia. I understand though if you plan on waiting longer.

A 6 hour AP or a 12 hour AP is interesting.

I think at least a 12 hour full AP recovery is important. Keep the Resource Gathering the same (1 gold every hour and such). But let heroes gain their AP fully every 12 hours (or 6 hours?).

The reason is, early in the day I move my heroes and then that's it. I have to wait till before I sleep and still I can move my hero for half their AP. People sleep 8-10 hours so a 8-12 full AP recovery seems logical. Where when I use my hero then go to sleep and wake up to find them ready to go.

I would be very excited if this was implemented. But then again I'm a newbie and I have few heroes to move. But I think because I am a newbie I can talk about how slow the pace is for me. Where others might have forgotten how it felt. I think I ought to at least move my units twice a day and a 12 hour ap recovery seems more logical than 24 hours.

If new worlds are made, then they should be different from other worlds. To increase the excitement.

Say a 2X world, where production, delivery and building times are halved.
And the AP recovery is double.

A War World, cheaper troops, spells, machinery, artifacts and 3X AP than normal. Heroes costing 5 karma.
This will ensure HUGE battles, and more tactics than World 1 has to offer.

And a Tournament World, same like the War World, everything related to war is cheap. And 10XAP, but there is only one large continent, with several small rivers running through it (to ensure amphibious tactics). But most combat happen on land.
This ensures maximum carnage and warfare. For those who love war and tactic.
And then the tournament world comes to an end within 60 days. And a new tournament round starts.

====================

Variations are endless. But they make the difference between "I played this game before", and "I want to play again!!!" :D

Most probably all these worlds will be implemented. Just becuase this thought will cross a lot of minds and players will wish for that sort of things.
But in the end most of them will be disappointed.
This game was running for 3 years as a beta in 1 country, and we tested out many theories. Turns out when you have an excess of resources or APs in a x4 speed world its not that much fun. Its like a baby that wished for more chocolate getting a 10 kg pack to eat (instead of savouring every piece). Too much time is consumed to operate the empire and you're killing less units than the enemy can produce which makes wars quite pointless and hollow-hearted.

The problem of this game is first 2-3 months of slow-paced dull development. Then it becomes interesting.

Yeah x4 is bad, really bad. But I think ONLY AP needs a little improvement. 12 hours AP reload make more sense than 24 hours. Because, I know while I am sleeping my hero has more AP than when I am awake mid day. That doesn't make sense. If it was 12 hours AP reload it means I can move my hero in the morning and in the evening then by the next day it will be almost ready again.

Gold, Timber and all harvesting and castle building time is great if not too fast. AP regeneration is too little in comparison. I feel like I am improving my buildings way way way too fast than my hero is able to run. I spent 4 days now and my hero didn't do much. Compare this to any turn based strategy games the City Improvements dont improve at this fast speed in comparison to how fast I can move my units!

I can build 3 buildings and my hero had used a "1 turn" move... that's slow. Usually in turn based strategy game, a building need 3 turns or more to be built. By that time the hero would have moved 3 times his AP points. But in Terra Bellica it is the opposite. Hero moves 1 time and cities improved too fast.

Heck I have made a barracks, tavern, citadel, fencing school and now factory and my hero moved like 3 AP times.. (that's like 20 squares and only if I was running in plains in a straight line... too slow).

You'll have 5 heroes once you remove the dark aura, with a variety of AP bonuses, and a few machines who move on their own. That would result in about 60-70 AP per day in a couple of weeks after the start.

Fast AP regeneration will give an unfair advantage to those who can get online more often than others, and it would be hard to wage war against clans composed of such individuals. Strategic planning will mean less than persistence.

Again, building will become notably slower as you level up. LVL13 road takes 45 hours to build, for instance, and I shudder at the thought of how long a LVL32 road will take (and you get a bonus for building that).

I think I might have a softer and easier solution: let dark aura reduce the moving cost by half.

I think AP is rather good as it is. Maybe the amount of AP can be raised so that heroes can move A bit farther than they normally would. But Humanophage is right. A player who can get on a lot more on a X2 AP setting would have a huge advantage over another player who has other duties to fullfill. An increase on the growth of AP would promote players to spend MUCH more time on TB than reasonable.

Instead, Increasing the bar of AP (meaning; Instead of a max of 7 AP, have a max of 10 AP) and keeping the regeneration at 24 hours. This will allow someone to get on the same amount of time a day as they normally do, but being able to move their heroes further than before.
