Long long ago I accidentally make one brew, if I remember correctly it's 1 of each ingredient, 6 in total. Then I promptly press brew again and the potions just made disappeared.
Now I try my hands at brewing again, mostly in search of the fabled Forest Spirit. Unfortunately no luck yet. And it's so costly whatever I can save/find/buy dispappear down the drain.
So I have a few question:

1. For alpha potion we have 6 ingredients and the encylopedia say you must put 4 of those 6 into the cauldron. Is that only 4 types will give result? Or 5 types will be okay? 6? Because I have only once made a potion so I dont think one result is PROOF.

2. ENc say 1 unit of each type. Is that exactly 1 of each type? Or if we use 2 gold 2 orcblood 1mandrake 1stone work too?

For alpha potions, you have to add exactly four ingredients. Five doesn't work at all, while six might give you a beta potion. For instance, mixing Gold + Metal + Stone + Blood might give you a Forest Spirit potion. However, the formula is different for each cauldron - moreover, it is randomised once a week (starting from Monday).

If you brewed Forest Spirit on Wednesday using G+M+S+B, you can use this formula for this particular cauldron until the next Monday. On the next Monday, it will either not work at all or result in a different potion.

As for the second question, I should think one of each. Haven't checked though. I am almost completely sure that putting 2G+2M+2S+2B won't result into two potions, but rather a wasted opportunity.

And each cauldron, each week, get a different recipe for each potion, right?
For example, just one lucky guy can guess all 4 alpha potion and 5 beta potion for that week and he can use them all week long, right?
Have you guys ever got more than one recipes going at the same week?

Yep. Moreover, the formulae depend on the frequency of usage of ingredients around the world. I.e., if everyone is using gold, it's less likely to be used as an ingredient next week.


Right. However, they will only work for him. I initially thought they'd work for everyone, but that is not the case, alas.


Well, I have little brewing experience, but some of our gentlemen seem to have brewed more than one recipe per week, yes.

And I got two recipe to work, yay!

The recipes are changed daily, not weekly. Dang!

Are you certain? The recipes only work for specific cauldrons, as far as I understand. For instance, if GMSB work in one pot on Tuesday, it should work in the same very pot, but not others, on Wednesday.

Every day, for every pot a new random sequence is generated. So there's absolutely no use in remembering the recipes or sharing them with clanmates.

Although Admin had said so, I will clarify the matter from my recent brewing works:

Same recipe, Monday, Forest Spirit.
Same recipe, Tuesday, Nothing
Same recipe, Wednesday, Health
Same recipe, Thursday, Sprint
Same recipe, Friday , Nothing
Same recipe, Thursday, Sprint

I have only one cauldron in my capital. I try adding ingredients in different order.

You mean different ingredients?
Doesnt matter what you put first inside the pot.
If its 1 gold, then 1 metal, then 1 stone then 1 pint of blood
or 1 blood - 1 stone -1 metal - 1gold
the result is the same.
