A subsidiary of Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) in the UK has been selected by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to provide essential customer support to UK citizens for an initial period of two years, with an option to extend. The UKHSA is responsible for NHS Test & Trace and this contract will help meet future contact tracing needs for Covid-19 and other health security risks, such as a major flu outbreak or a new pandemic.
The contract value of the deal could be worth up to £211 million (`2,100 crore) over the term and would provide employment for more than 2,000 people across the UK. Over the past decade, HGS has developed and expanded its partnership with the UK government, which has become its biggest public sector win to date.

While revenue for the year ended March 21 was around £67 million, in the nine months to December 21 HGS UK more than doubled its revenue to £87 million.
